Program Description
Mr. Mike Oler

Designed to provide a program of instruction in business management, with an emphasis on the integration of computers into all facets of business.

The first year, students focus on understanding of our economic system and how businesses operate in that environment, the study of professional effectiveness, accounting, interpersonal and communication skills.

The second year is focused on international business, organizational structures and cultures, ethical operations and business law.

Students also study technology, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, human resources, quality assurance, project management, risk management, intelligence management, professional development and networking, career development and job survival techniques.

Participation in Business Professionals of America broadens student's knowledge of the world of business and encourages participation in leadership and civic awareness activities at the local, state and national levels.  Selected opportunities for School-to-work or Early Placement are available.
