Program Description

The Art, Design & Communications program introduces the basic principles and skill development necessary in the visual communications industry. The lab is designed to mimic a professional work environment, as much as possible, so that students learn both the hard and soft skills necessary to compete for college scholarship, excel in the college environment, and succeed in the workplace. 

Students with the required grade point and attendance can participate in post-secondary enrollment options at Columbus College of Art & Design, and/or the articulation agreement with Columbus State Community College in Graphic Design.

Art, Design & Communications students are a member of the SkillsUSA career/technical student organization.
