Medical Billing & Coding
Course Description:
The 299-hour program is comprised of 235 hours classroom instruction and 64 hours online instruction.
Students will learn to:
• Complete insurance forms and handle billing.
• Use basic medical terminology.
• Understand basic anatomy and physiology.
• Look up medical codes.
The curriculum includes:
• 90 hours of medical terminology • 9 hours of computers
• 90 hours of anatomy & physiology • 9 hours of learning strategies
• 70 hours of medical billing & coding • 31 hours of job search
Program Schedule:
August 20, 2012-June 4, 2013
Monday through Thursday evenings 4:30-9:00 pm.
The first two weeks, the class meets Monday through Thursdays.
After that, the class meets Tuesday and Thursday nights through
February 7th. From February 14th on, it meets on Tuesdays only.
Requirements:
• Submit the $75 non-refundable application fee before orientation.
• Attend a WorkKeys / Orientation session.

$75 non-refundable application fee
$2495 tuition
A payment plan is an option, if a promissory note is signed.
Upon completion:
Following successful completion of all course requirements, students will be eligible to sit for a nationally recognized credentialing exam for an additional fee and with proof of a high school diploma or GED.
