Pharmacy Technician

Course Description: 
The 80-hour class is comprised of classroom, hands-on, and online instruction. 

Students will learn to:

• Work in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
• Use basic medical terminology.
• Explain the legal aspects of drug dispensing.
• Repackage pharmaceuticals.
• Calculate dosages.
• Control inventory.
• Perform other basic duties.
 
Program Schedule:

The class generally meets three nights a week, three hours each evening, for 27 consecutive sessions.

Requirements:

• Submit the $60 non-refundable application fee before orientation.
• Attend a WorkKeys / Orientation session.
• Provide full payment at least two weeks prior to the class start date.   

Tuition and Fees: 

 $75 non-refundable application fee
 $895 tuition

Upon completion:

Following successful completion of all course requirements, students will be eligible to sit for the required credentialing examination to be approved by the State Board of Pharmacy for an additional fee.
