Broadcast Video Production in Dublin City Schools

  • Prepare for careers in television broadcasting, production, camera and technical services, film, editing, digital media design, and audio/video engineering.
  • Students at Dublin City Schools can enroll in this career-technical satellite housed at Coffman, Jerome, and Scioto High Schools.
  • Student produce daily and weekly shows that are broadcast in-house, take part in film festivals and other competitions, and have the opportunity to develop real-world skills from industry experts from throughout Central Ohio. Students will take part in producing sports shows, commercials, short films, magazine shows, public access shows, and will work using state-of-the-art equipment.

Digital Media Production

  • Prepare for careers in photography, broadcasting, production, camera and technical services, public relations, and corporate communications.
  • Students are immersed in experiential opportunities in the Studio Lab at Tolles. The Studio Lab consists of a television production studio, graphic design area with Apple iMacs, control room, and a classroom space.
  • Students develop their skills by completing projects for “clients”, including both internal and external opportunities. They also compete in film festival contests and have the opportunity to explore their strengths in various specialties within the industry.
