Criminal Justice

  • Prepare for careers in law enforcement, the military, or public safety.
  • Students have the opportunity in this program to learn experientially from area law enforcement, military, and public safety agencies. Students volunteer for community events to practice the skills that they are developing within this program.
  • Student explore a wide-range of experiences in criminal investigations, forensics, emergency response, fitness training, and self-defense tactics. They also are able to study in a lab where they can experience the equipment and technology required in this field of study.

Firefighting & EMS

  • Prepare for careers as a firefighter, emergency medical technician, paramedic, emergency dispatcher or other public safety fields.
  • Students who train in this physically rigorous and demanding program develop the skills needed to prevent fires by taking part in simulated and live burns. They also learn firefighting techniques and become certified in First Aid and CPR.
  • Students train in various scenarios with highly-qualified industry professionals, who work with the students to ensure they are receiving relevant experiences that they can utilize in their careers.
