Tolles is an official Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative (RAMTEC) Center, a $15 million statewide initiative that encompasses nine career-technical schools throughout the state of Ohio.


Engineering & Manufacturing Technology

  • Prepare for careers in engineering, robotics, as a mechanic, production manager, engineering technician, quality assurance inspector or in the high-demand areas of advanced manufacturing.
  • Students have the unique opportunity to be part of this in-demand career pathway that is ripe for strong careers. Students can prepare for college or have the chance to earn technical and industry certification to prepare them for higher wages following high school.
  • Tolles is an official Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative (RAMTEC) Center, a $15 million statewide initiative that encompasses nine career-technical schools in Ohio. Tolles’ Engineering & Manufacturing lab is receiving a $1.5 million revamp for the 2015-2016 school year that will make it among the most advanced robotics and advanced manufacturing labs in the region.

Welding & Fabrication Technology

  • Prepare for careers in the high-demand area of welding and fabrication, including as a welder, fabricator, ironworker, engineer, or research and developer.
  • While learning skills in blueprint reading, welding procedures, fabrication, shielded metal arc welding, and pipe fitting, students are developing a set of specialities that are in demand around the country. Students can prepare for careers out of high school that often pay well.
  • Students practice their skills daily in a top-notch welding lab and often work on projects for the community or real-world “clients”.
