The Live Fire Instructor course is designed to deliver a live-fire training program in accordance with NFPA 1403. Using both cognitive and psychomotor teaching techniques, students will learn methods and requirements for live-fire training evolutions such as staff positions, safety requirements, checklists, and standard operating procedures.  Students will also inspect the Tolles burn building, conduct an evaluation of an acquired structure, and develop a live-burn plan for NFPA 1403 compliance. This course ensures instructors are conducting live fires in safe environments that minimize exposure to student health and safety. Email Josh McDowell for pricing and availability.
