The Ohio Department of Education & Workforce informed Tolles Career & Technical Center of its selection as a Purple Star School for the Class of 2026 in a letter issued April 20, 2026.
The Purple Star designation recognizes Tolles’ commitment to serving military-connected students and families, including support for their unique wellness and academic needs during transitions, activations, and deployments.
The Purple Star Advisory Board for Ohio establishes criteria that schools must meet to earn the designation. The recognition is valid for three years, through April 2029.
Tolles is proud to support Ohio’s military families and remains committed to ensuring all students have the resources and support needed to succeed.
